The Frank Lloyd Wright’s Rowing Boathouse Corporation (FLWRBC), a 501©(3) corporation, was formed in 2000, when a group of rowing enthusiasts and Wright aficionados realized that the structure would be an important addition to our region. The cultural and economic impact of building the Rowing Boathouse in Buffalo will be immediate. When coupled with the planned and existing Wright gems that Buffalo has to offer, including the Martin House, Graycliff, Blue Sky mausoleum and FLW gas station, the addition of the Boathouse would make Western New York a major attraction for Wright fans.
